The Hub City Hustle Triathlon takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Heritage Subdivision in Oloh, Mississippi. It is a USAT-sanctioned sprint triathlon. The event offers multiple divisions for individuals and teams.
Distances and Formats
The event includes several competition formats. The primary triathlon distances are:
- Regular Divisions: A 600-yard swim, a 21.3-mile bike ride, and a 3-mile run.
- Beginner Division: A shorter 300-yard swim, followed by the same 21.3-mile bike and 3-mile run.
- Duathlon: A 2-mile run, a 21.3-mile bike, and a 3-mile run.
The bike course is a 21.3-mile out-and-back route on county roads, and the run course is contained within the Heritage Subdivision.
Event Details
Participants can register for various divisions: Individuals Age Group, Clydesdale, Athena, Beginners, Duathlon, and Relay Teams (Male, Female, and Coed). Registration is open to ages 12 to 100. A practice ride is scheduled for a Saturday in late September.
All participants must follow USA Triathlon rules, which include mandatory helmet use during the bike segment. Awards are given for top finishers in each division, including cash prizes for the fastest male and female swimmer, biker, and runner. Custom-made prizes are provided by a local artist.
Packet pickup occurs at a bike shop in Hattiesburg on the Thursday and Friday before the race, with race-day pickup also available. A photo ID is required for all athletes at packet pickup.
