Event overview
The AdventHealth Great Clermont Triathlon is scheduled for March 8, 2026, at Clermont Waterfront Park in Clermont, FL. The event features an International (Olympic) distance format with a 1.5K swim, 40K bike, and 10K run. Additional options include Aquabike, Duathlon, relay teams, sprint-distance races, a standalone 1.5K open water swim, a 5K run/walk, a 40K bike-only event, and a virtual Great Clermont Triathlon.
Courses, rules and amenities
The swim is a 1500 meter triangular course in Lake Minneola, swum counter-clockwise with buoys kept to the left; participants complete one lap. Projected water temperature is 68-78 and wetsuit use follows USAT rules. The 40K bike route travels counter-clockwise around Lake Minneola, includes an out-and-back toward Cherry Lake, and returns to Waterfront Park. The 10K run is an out-and-back loop on the South Lake Trail. Course maps are provided on the event Downloads Page. Amenities listed include a finisher medal, event shirt, post-race food tent, and an accurately measured and monitored course. Awards are planned by event: overall and age-division awards for Olympic and Sprint races, top relay teams by category, Aquabike top three overall by gender, and top five male and female in the open water swim.
