Goose Pond Frantic Frog Sprint Triathlon

The Goose Pond Frantic Frog Sprint Triathlon and 5k takes place at the Goose Pond Colony Resort in Scottsboro, Alabama. The sprint triathlon features a 500-meter swim starting at the end of a pier with a rectangular course and beach exit, followed by a 14-mile out-and-back bike ride, and concludes with a 5k run on an out-and-back route through a campground. A 5k run/walk event is also offered on the same course as the triathlon run portion, without requiring a USAT membership.

Participants receive race packets including a t-shirt, water bottle, socks, swim cap, and finisher medals. The event is USAT sanctioned with various age group and overall awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
