Event overview
The Evergreen Lake Triathlon is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Evergreen Lake in Bath, PA (2375 Benders Drive). The event offers multiple formats: Super Sprint Triathlon, Sprint Triathlon (including aquabike and relay), Sprint Duathlon, and a SwimFest with three swim distances. Participants may enter one, two, or all three race sessions with a discount for multiple entries (30% off the second race, 45% off the third race). The event is USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned.
Courses and distances
- Super Sprint Triathlon - 400 m swim (10 and under: 100 m), 5 mile bike, 1.1 mile run
- Sprint Triathlon - 800 m swim, 10 mile bike (two loops), 5K run (two loops)
- Sprint Duathlon - 1.1 mile run, 10 mile bike (two loops), 5K run (two loops)
- SwimFest options: 400 m, 800 m, 1600 m (1600 m is two loops)
Swims are open-water lake swims on counter-clockwise courses with buoys to follow and in-water lifeguards.
Logistics and rules
Parking is in the gravel/grass lot north of Benders Drive across from the lake. The race will be held rain or shine. No refunds; registered athletes may request a deferred entry for next year if requested at least 14 days before the event for a nominal fee. Awards are given to top three in each age group and include special recognitions. USAT membership and photo ID are required. Helmets must be securely fastened before moving a bike; no drafting, no headphones, and no riding in transition. Wetsuit use follows USAT temperature rules and may be restricted based on water temperature. Pets are not allowed on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
