Events and Distances
The Evergreen Lake Triathlon event includes several race formats:
- Super Sprint Triathlon (Youth and Adult): 400m swim, 5-mile bike, 1.1-mile run.
- Sprint Triathlon (Youth and Adult): 800m swim, 10-mile bike (2 loops), 5K run (2 loops).
- Sprint Duathlon: 1.1-mile run, 10-mile bike, 5K run.
- Sprint Aquabike and Relay options are also available.
- A standalone SwimFest offers 400m, 800m, and 1600m swims.
Race Details
The event takes place at Evergreen Lake, Bath, PA. Parking is in the grass lot on the north side of Benders Drive. The race is USA Triathlon sanctioned for the triathlon events. All participants must have an active USAT membership.
The bike courses use rural roads with light traffic, described as flat to slightly rolling with no large climbs. All types of bikes are permitted except e-bikes. The swim takes place in the open water lake. Wetsuit use follows USAT rules, dependent on water temperature. In-water lifeguards are present.
Additional Information
Registration includes one t-shirt per person. A free hot food buffet is provided for all racers and volunteers. Custom awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group for every event. On-site camping is available at Evergreen Lake. Pets are not allowed at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
