DASH Adventure Race
The DASH Adventure Race is an outdoor multisport competition held in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest near Kamas, Utah. This event takes place on Forest Rd 431 and utilizes the natural landscape of the region for a course that combines several distinct disciplines. Participants navigate through the forest while completing segments of trekking and mountain biking.
The race follows a sprint adventure format and covers a total distance of approximately 15 miles. The course requires navigation skills to move between points while managing transitions between the different athletic components. The rugged terrain of the national forest provides the backdrop for the entire route.
The event offers several categories for participation based on team size:
- 15 miles for soloists
- 15 miles for 2 person teams
- 15 miles for 3 person teams
- 15 miles for 4 person teams
Registration for the event opens in March and typically closes in early June. Each team member or soloist is responsible for their registration fee to secure a place in the race. The event is organized by Rev3 Endurance and focuses on human powered movement through the Utah wilderness. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
