Cypress Sprint and Youth Triathlon
The Cypress Sprint and Youth Triathlon returns to Cypress, Texas, for its 18th year as part of the Bayou City Triathlon Series. Held at Festival Park, this multisport event spans multiple days and offers various formats for different ages and interests.
The event schedule is divided by category across the final weekend. Saturday is dedicated to the Youth Triathlon and the Doggie Du. The youth races are split into two age groups: a short course for children aged 5-10 and a long course for participants aged 11-16. Sunday features the adult-focused competitions, including several endurance formats.

A pre-race clinic is held one week before the main event. This preparatory session allows participants to practice on the actual swim and run courses and receive a briefing on transition procedures.
