Courage Triathlon
The Courage Triathlon, held annually at Lake Almanor Country Club in Westwood, California, is a unique event supporting child survivors of sex trafficking. The 11th edition, scheduled for August 16, 2025, offers both in-person and virtual participation options. Athletes can compete individually or as relay teams, engaging in running, biking, and kayaking activities.
Virtual participants can log their own distances and times from any location, promoting widespread support. The event fosters a supportive atmosphere encouraging participants to contribute in various ways, from full triathlons to simple walks. Proceeds aid Courage Worldwide’s residential housing and therapeutic services for survivors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
