Event Overview
The AdventHealth Cool Sommer Mornings Triathlon/Duathlon/5K Series #3 is a multi-sport event held at Clermont Waterfront Park in Clermont, Florida. It is the third of four themed events in a summer series. This specific installment has a "Mighty Dragon" theme.
Event Options
Participants can choose from numerous events. The list includes a 5K Run/Walk, Sprint Triathlon, Sprint Duathlon, Sprint Aquathlon (Swim-Run), Sprint Aquabike, Double Triathlon, Double Duathlon, Double Aquabike, and corresponding team relay and virtual options. The Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon, and Aquabike also have "Double" versions which involve completing two full sprint courses back-to-back.
Course Details
The run portion of the 5K Run takes place along Lake Minneola's scenic trail. A typical Sprint Triathlon involves a 0.25-mile swim, an 8.2-mile bike segment, and a 3.1-mile run. The Sprint Duathlon consists of a 1-mile run, 8.2-mile bike, and 3.1-mile run.
Series Information
The overall series runs monthly from June through September, with each event having a unique whimsical theme. This event is part of the 2026 USA Triathlon State Championship Pilot Program for Florida. Participation in sanctioned events can contribute toward state championship rankings.
