Overview
The Castle Creek Triathlon is a multisport event held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Lake Pleasant - Castle Creek Boat Ramp in Morristown/Peoria, AZ. The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and will be chip timed by 4 Peaks Racing. There is a $7 park entry fee on race day for Lake Pleasant Regional Park. Packet pickup is provided before the race and on race morning. Timing chips must be worn on the left ankle, kept from start to finish, returned at the finish, and lost or unreturned chips will be charged to the athlete.

- Olympic Triathlon: Swim 1500 m, Bike 40 km, Run 10 km
- Sprint Triathlon: Swim 750 m, Bike 22 km, Run 5 km
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 5 km, Bike 22 km, Run 5 km
- Sprint Kayak/SUP: Kayak/SUP 1500 m, Bike 22 km, Run 5 km (participants must provide their own kayak or SUP and personal flotation device)
- Olympic Aquabike: Swim 1500 m, Bike 40 km
- Sprint Aquabike: Swim 750 m, Bike 22 km
Logistics and awards
The bike course is an out-and-back with loops (sprint = 2 loops, Olympic = 4 loops); traffic is restricted but not fully closed and athletes must share the road. The transition area has rough ground. Water stations are provided at run turnarounds; there are no water stations on the bike course. Racer amenities include a long-sleeve hoodie option, post-race refreshments, finisher medals, and awards. Awards are given to top three male and female finishers in sprint and Olympic, age-group top threes across listed age brackets, and top three in several special categories including aquabike, duathlon, Clydesdales, Athenas, and relays.
