Castle Creek Triathlon : October 3, 2026
The event at Lake Pleasant - Castle Creek Boat Ramp includes triathlon, kayak/SUP, duathlon and aquabike categories. It is sanctioned by USA Triathlon; every participant must hold an annual membership or purchase a one-day membership. Parking at Lake Pleasant Regional Park carries a per-vehicle entry fee. Race timing uses triathlon timing chips; chips must be worn on the left ankle, returned at the finish, and will be charged if lost. Transition is on rough ground; athletes may leave footwear at the swim exit. The bike course is an out-and-back with restricted traffic - riders must stay right and self-support for fluids on the bike. The run and bike use looped courses with specified loop counts for sprint and Olympic distances. There are course cutoffs on race day. Race amenities include a long-sleeve hoodie, post-race refreshments, finisher medals for all participants, and awards for top finishers.
