Event details
The Brewhouse Triathlon p/b Lakewalk Surgery Center takes place on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Island Lake Park Pavilion, 7204 Rice Lake Rd, Duluth, MN 55803. The event is USAT sanctioned and requires each participant or relay member to hold either an annual USAT license or a one-day USAT policy.
Distances offered:
- Buzz Ryan Short Course (individual): 500 m swim, 8 mile bike, 2.5 mile run
- Brewhouse Long Course (individual): 1500 m swim, 24.8 mile bike, 5 mile run
- Buzz Ryan Short Course (relay team): 750 m swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Brewhouse Long Course (relay team): 1500 m swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
The Buzz Ryan Short Course individual entry includes an exhibition swim option with a 200 m swim. Relay teams may consist of two or three members; each relay member must register separately and have a current USAT license on race day.
Registration and policies
Online registration closes at 7:00 pm on the Saturday before the race; in-person registration is available at packet pick-up. There is no day-of registration. One-day USAT insurance can be purchased during registration; the one-day insurance registration closes on August 1, 2026. Shirt sizes are guaranteed up to three weeks before the event. There are no refunds, but registrations may be deferred if the organizers are notified at least four weeks before the race. Fees vary by event and category.
