Event overview
The Belews Lake Sprint Distance Triathlon and Multisport Race takes place at Carolina Marina in Stokesdale, NC on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The event is part of the Trivium Multisport Series and offers triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike options. Registrations include a custom race shirt, a finishers medal, chip timing with five timing-point splits, and post-race food and drinks. Packet pickup is available the day before at Fleet Feet Greensboro. Parking volunteers will direct vehicles near the staging area.

Course and race details
The swim uses an in-water start at the boat launch on Belews Lake and follows a triangular course; participants run about 50 yards from the water to the transition area. Participants must submit a 100-yard swim time for seeding and swim caps are mandatory. The bike is two loops on smooth rural roads with some hills; intersections are staffed and turns are signed. The run is two loops on paved roads with rolling hills and aid stations approximately every 1 mile.
Awards and policies
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and top three in five-year age groups, plus categories for collegiate, Athenas, Clydesdales, masters Clydesdales, and relays. Refunds are not issued within 30 days of the event; earlier requests may receive a 50% refund. Entries may be transferred to another individual for a $5 fee; entries cannot be deferred to another event or year. If the race is canceled for reasons beyond the race director’s control, no refunds will be made and packets will be made available at a designated location.
