Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon
The Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon takes place at Bear Lake State Park in St. Charles, Idaho. The event is staged on the Idaho side and the East side of Bear Lake. This mountain location is characterized by high-altitude surroundings and blue water.
Participants can choose from several multisport disciplines and distances, including triathlons, duathlons, aquathlons, and aquabikes. Relay options are also available for specific categories, allowing teams of two to three people to participate together.
Available distances and formats include:
- 70.3 Miles (Half Distance Triathlon): 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run.
- 51.2K (Olympic Distance): 1500 meter swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run.
- 25.6K (Sprint Distance): 750 meter swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run.
- 69.1 Miles (Half Duathlon): 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run.
- 57.2 Miles (Half Aquabike): 1.2 mile swim and 56 mile bike.
- 14.3 Miles (Half Aquathlon): 1.2 mile swim and 13.1 mile run.
The venue is located at 1767 Eastshore Rd. Registration typically opens nearly a year in advance and closes several months before the event date, with various fee structures depending on the selected race distance and format.
