Baltimore Triathlon Festival : Gunpowder State Park
The Baltimore Triathlon Festival is a two-day multisport event held October 3–4, 2026 in the Hammerman Area of Gunpowder State Park, Chase, MD. The program groups events by gender day and includes sprint triathlon, aquabike, and duathlon formats, plus youth races and relay divisions.

- Women's Sprint Triathlon, Women's Sprint Triathlon Team Relay, Women's Sprint Aquabike, Women's Sprint Duathlon, Youth Triathlon (6-10)
- Men's Sprint Triathlon, Men's Sprint Triathlon Team Relay, Co-Ed Sprint Triathlon Team Relay, Men's Sprint Aquabike, Men's Sprint Duathlon, Youth Triathlon (11-15)
Relay rules allow two- and three-person teams. Female relay teams compete on the first day; male and coed relay teams compete on the second day. The event is USA Triathlon sanctioned; nonmembers must purchase a one-day USAT license to race.
A youth course is offered for ages 6 to 15 (age as of Dec 31, 2026) with short swim, bike, and run distances run entirely inside the park.
Timing and results are handled with official chip timing using MyLaps systems. Participants receive a long-sleeve technical race shirt, a swim cap, helmet/bike/run numbers, and a finisher medal. Awards are given to top overall finishers and age-group places, and to top relay teams. Course cutoffs are enforced for participant safety.
