Azalea Sprint

The Azalea Sprint takes place in Wilmington, North Carolina, on the campus of the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW). This multi-sport event serves as the opening race of the 2027 North Carolina Triathlon Series. The transition area and event facilities are located at 720 Hamilton Dr.

Participants have the option to compete in several categories:

  • Individual Triathlon
  • Relay Triathlon
  • Aquabike

The event structures allow for solo competition or team participation through the relay option. For those who prefer to focus on swimming and cycling without the running segment, an Aquabike category is available.
