Au Sable Valley Triathlon

The Au Sable Valley Triathlon, held annually in Mio, Michigan, is an intermediate-level event featuring a 1-mile kayak on the Au Sable River backwaters, an 11-mile bike ride on paved roads through the scenic Huron National Forest, and a 3-mile run on grass and dirt trails. The race starts at Mio Pond and finishes at Boney Park in Fairview. Open to individuals and teams of two or three, it offers a friendly, low-key competition atmosphere.
