About the race
Albany Community Triathlon is a family‑friendly, beginner‑oriented Super Sprint held at the Albany Aquatic Center and Memorial Park (1325 Portland Ave, Albany, CA). The main course includes a 400‑meter pool swim with a split lane, a 10‑kilometer bike circuit around streets near Albany High School, and a 2.5‑kilometer run around Memorial Park, with the route on mostly flat, car‑blocked roads for safety. A Short Course Mini Triathlon (about a quarter of the main distance) is available for ages 6 and up, featuring a 70‑meter swim, 2.5 km bike, and 1 km run.
Relay options exist for adult and youth teams. Proceeds support Albany Athletics Boosters; participants receive finisher medals, snacks, and event shirts if registered by the deadline. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
