Event details
The Adventure on the Creek Triathlon takes place on Nov 1, 2025, in Del Rio, Texas, at Rotary Park. The course passes along San Felipe Creek and past local landmarks such as Val Verde Winery, Brinkley Mansion, Val Verde County Courthouse, The Cassinelli Gin House, and The Whitehead Museum. The event supports the SFDRCISD Education Foundation.
Race format and awards
The event is a three-leg triathlon with cycling, running, and kayaking. Participants may enter as individuals or form relay teams. Awards are given in individual male and female divisions by age groups (19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+). Relay awards include male, female, and coed divisions and categories such as Top Male Relay, Top Female Relay, Top Coed Relay, Top Business, Top School District Relay, Top Emergency Services, and Top Student Division.
