About the race
Adventure on the Creek 5 is a triathlon in Del Rio, Texas, centered at Rotary Park along San Felipe Creek. The course combines three legs: cycling 6.5 miles, running 2.75 miles, and kayaking 1.25 miles. Participants can compete solo or in relay teams, with age-group divisions for men and women and special awards for emergency services, students, and various relay categories.
The event highlights local landmarks such as the Val Verde Winery, Brinkley Mansion, Val Verde County Courthouse, the Cassinelli Gin House, and the Whitehead Museum, celebrating the area’s scenery and history.
